Botanical prints inspired by nature
My work is inspired by the quiet beauty of the natural world, particularly botanical forms. Through clean lines, bold contrasts, and a sense of joyful simplicity, I aim to capture the essence of nature in each print.
Working primarily in small formats, I hand-carve and print every piece from my home studio, weaving my creative practice around the rhythms of family life as a mother of two. Linocut naturally lends itself to this way of working, allowing me to create in short, focused sessions—often in the quiet moments between school runs.
For me, the appeal of linocut lies in its tactile, meditative process. Every cut is intentional, and every print carries its own subtle variations. I find deep satisfaction in the slow, mindful rhythm of carving, embracing the small imperfections that make each piece truly unique.
